A new conference centre opens in Bordeaux, Place de la Bourse
2010-07-05

The Bordeaux Gironde Convention Bureau is proud to announce the opening of the new Bordeaux Place de la Bourse conference centre.

Housed in an 18th century building designed by architect Jacques Gabriel on the Garonne quayside, the centre is located right in the heart of the historic city, in one of the finest architectural settings to be found in Bordeaux’s rich heritage. Refurbished from top to bottom to house events and conferences, Bordeaux Place de la Bourse is preparing to welcome its first visitors in autumn 2010.

Featuring an amphitheatre seating 200, a vast 600 m² reception and magnificent period function rooms, Bordeaux Place de la Bourse offers a total usable area of 2,440 m². The venue neatly complements Bordeaux’s existing capacity of two main conference centres, the Bordeaux Conference Centre (the largest auditorium seats 1,300) and the Mercure Cité Mondiale Conference Centre (300-seater amphitheatre).
