Lyon left its mark on home with the « Lyon Welcome Attitude »
2009-07-07

Ever faithful to Lyon’s traditional welcoming savoir faire, the City of Lyon has recently launched a brand new scheme targeted towards its business visitors: The Lyon Welcome Attitude. The Lyon Welcome attitude has the active support of 10 partners, all from institutional or professional business travel establishments. The aim of this free service is to make all visitors feel especially welcome within the city of Lyon and facilitate their access to key areas and travel solutions throughout the city for the duration of their event: for instance, free event signage and bunting of main street leading to event venue and key areas in the city (including train stations and airport), welcome packs on site for all attendees, dedicated Tourist Information booth, Only Events label: special welcome to event attendees.

Faced with growing competition in the business tourism sector and in order to counter the varying effects of the current national and international financial climate, Lyon Tourism and Conventions has decided to prolong the Lyon Welcome Attitude initiative by offering its benefits to conventions and exhibitions totaling over 1500 participants by introducing a new package dedicated especially to them.
